- What was recalled
- This recall is for the model years 2015 and 2016 Youth Model Can-Am™ DS 90™ and DS 90™X® ATVs. The recalled vehicles have an engine size of 90 cubic centimeters. The vehicles came in black and yellow. "Can-Am DS" and the engine size are painted in white on both sides of the vehicle's fairing. "Can-Am" appears in white letters on both sides of the seat.
- The hazard
- The fuel filter can break and leak, posing a fire hazard.
- Injuries
- BRP has received eight reports of the fuel filter breaking and leaking at dealerships. No injuries have been reported.
- The remedy
- Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled vehicles and contact a BRP dealer to schedule a free repair. BRP is notifying registered consumers directly about this recall.
