- What was recalled
- This recall involves all models of the URB-E electric scooter. The foldable electric scooters are aluminum and carbon fiber. They have two wheels and came in black, gray or white.
- The hazard
- The bolt below the seat can crack, posing a fall hazard.
- Injuries
- The firm has received three reports of incidents, one resulting in a scraped knee.
- The remedy
- Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled units and contact URBAN626 for a free repair kit. URBAN626 will reimburse consumers if they choose to have a bike repair shop replace the bolt.
