What was recalled
The Abby Dining Chair has dark brown wooden legs with seat and back upholstery in either gray or green fabric with black or white edge piping. The chair is approximately 20 inches wide, 24 inches deep and 36 inches tall. The SKU number 428136-CS-C or 428136-GS-C is printed on the product packaging. There are no identifying labels on the product itself.
The hazard
Chair legs can break unexpectedly, posing a fall hazard.
Injuries
The company has received four reports of a chair leg breaking. No injuries have been reported.
The remedy
Consumers should immediately stop using the product and contact NPD Furniture for a full refund.
